Hey, we've been here for a while I'm feeling left out, I need service with a smile Sorry I was standing outside dreaming of a better place but fine Let us hear what you need ,all that's precious is my time Excuse me, can I speak to someone higher? Sure, I'm eating for free But I'd hate to keep someone like you From getting fired No, I don't need any help, for now Just checking things out Yeah I'm looking around, wow Listen if you need anything, don't hesitate, I'm on my break in five Then I'm running away Just to make sure I'm alive Let's get lost Who cares if we get fired? Doesn't matter to me I don't know why I was even hired We've been here for a while This city's gonna hear about my bad time But now it feels like It'll always be the same, well Thank you , sir, good day, and here's your change

Sirens 03:19
We're all living inside of the hole Eating crumbs When you hear those sirens, know You're never coming home Now we're driving You don't know which side we're on But you've never felt No, you never felt more alive Been walking around with no head Been talking real loud to no end Been walking around with no head Been talking real loud, oh yeah Keep watching out Through the cracks in the ground And now I'm never coming home

Barely Alive 03:34
Barely alive but I'm breathing I'll be the star of the meeting, anyway What kind of life is this? It's what you've always dreamed of Since you were kids This place does not seem right These creatures have no eyes But you must earn your stay Locked up in the middle of the day Time moves very slow Living by these rules I can't take much more, and I won't Nothing can stop us now No one can slow us down Maybe next time will be different Maybe I'll have more interest in the game How much time is left? Enought for change But not enough to pay the rent But will you join the fight? No thanks, I'm satisfied But there will come a day When you feel like you got played Nothing can stop us now No one can slow us down Now I'm feeling like I'm losing control Don't know what I'll do this time They've taken a piece of my soul Now we fight for our lives Nothings gonna stop us now No one can slow us down Nothings gonna stop us now No one can slow us down

Energy 02:38
Take a good look at the system at hand What does it cost just to be human? Ain't no love for you anymore Ain't no love for you anymore Sometimes it feels like we don't have a plan What can we do? How can I lend a hand? Ain't no home for you anymore Ain't no home for you anymore When home wants you to stay That's when you can feel you belong Now we've lost, washed away for miles Mountains turned to isles What can we do to bring love back To life in our hearts again? Kill your ego, child Remember why you smile What can we do to bring love back To life in our minds again? Now there's no escape No other time or place What can we do to bring love back to life In our hearts again, and What does it mean to be alive?

Reflux 02:04
I feel you eating up my insides Give me some medicine i can't eat, can't drink, no sleep 'til I'm a skeleton Nothing ever changes And every day is the same I sit alone in a screen-lit room Smoothing out my brain Why, why you wasting all my time? No, I can't take it any more Now my face if always twitching Eyes are bloody red Toss and turn in the middle of the night I'm sweating in my bed Feeling like a zombie Holding my own head No thought, just pure instinct Walking like I'm dead Why, why you wasting all my time why you keeping me up at night? Why you wasting all my time I can't take it any more
8.
Wash Me Away 03:44
Shifting clouds, it all looks the same Drifting out, wash me away It's over now, with nothing to show There's no one to blame, when you are a ghost The dark surrounds, trees turn to black Yellow eyes waiting to attack Save me, I'm drifting Too far to find Bring me back To life, once again I need a place Where I can rewind Come back to life Once again

about

Led by the guitar wizardry and song writing of front man Curtis Dressman, New Moons emerged in 2015 as a uniquely capable experimental pop rock band. The band's debut album 2015 Glass Planet and the follow-up EP 2018 Blood in the Waves presented a well sculpted, emotive creation of substantial indie rock. The Hole boasts ambition and progression from the band's earlier work.
